#Letter: Ponder the significance of Easter

"May God bless all of his creations, especially us human beings who live in perilous, challenging and daunting times. Happy Easter" - Simon T Dehal.

Simon T Dehal of Verulam writes:

Who was the man?

Was he real or a fake?

He has intrigued much of mankind for more than 2 000 years.

Opinions are varied and divided. Some say he was a good man who cared for people, while others claim he was an imposter.

He was admired and revered by many, yet others reviled and rejected him.

As Christians worldwide celebrate Easter, they recall with anguish and horror the unjust death of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by crucifixion. Then they rejoiced at the resurrection.

Through the shed blood of Jesus, mankind was redeemed from sin and offered salvation.

As per Isaiah 53 and other scriptures, Jesus was offered by Father God as the sacrificial lamb for our sins, bringing salvation, healing, deliverance and victory to believers.

Ponder this event that is recorded not only in the Bible, but in other early literature.
