And I feel compelled to share my experience.
The service he provided is rare and people should know about him.
He kept the car for two days to diagnose the problem, removed parts and drove to Durban to have them looked at, and then delivered the car back to me (albeit still with a problem) but with a helpful suggestion about what I should do next.
But the best of all, he refused to charge me for his time and effort.
