Ever since we moved from Westville to this part of the world some nine years ago, my wife and I have noticed on many occasions what a wonderful community spirit exists in Ballito, very often through articles and letters in your paper.
I would like to use this medium to thank everybody who helped and offered to help me push my car to safety.
It stalled in 30 degree temperatures through an electronic problem right on top of the exit ramp of the new Salt Rock Shopping Centre, blocking everybody behind me.
There were no angry hoots, just genuine concern and helpfulness.
