The Ballito Neighbourhood Watch (BNW) is delighted with how well the festive season went, ensuring that holidaymakers and locals had the opportunity of enjoying everything the North Coast has to offer.
We have been blessed with very few incidents on our beaches with KDM, Saps, UIP and CPF members ensuring that as little as possible alcohol made it onto the beaches and quickly nipping any incidents in the bud.
A huge thank you to all role players involved in ensuring a successful Christmas season.
The BNW would like to take this opportunity of thanking Lifestyle Spar for their very generous donation of cool drinks and biscuits that the BNW and Ward 6 CPF members distributed over this period and which was well received well by police, KDM officials, UIP and other role players in the heat of the day.
BP Ballito very generously sponsored hamburgers on New Years’ day as a token of gratitude to the men and women on the ground.
Kwikspar in the village also made a contribution.
The BNW would like to thank all sponsors. It made a huge difference. Thank you to the Ward 6 CPF for assisting in the delivery of eats and drinks over this time and a huge thank you to our BNW/CPF patrollers who continued to patrol at night.
We have been made aware of very few break-ins, which is testament to the work done by our patrollers.
