You know when your dog gets super excited when you open the fridge, hoping it will get a chicken vienna?
Well, I have the same feeling as my dog when the Courier comes out on a Wednesday.
But when I don’t see a column of Lesley Naudè or Bruce Stephenson, I find the chicken vienna untasteful.
Lesley, you know I love your columns. You definitely have Bruce’s genes. I just have a small request, could we see more columns of Bruce again? I really miss his opinions and write-ups.
He has this special sense of humour with a mix of polite sarcasm, and his column was always the cherry on the ice cream. Or the gin, in the G and T.
To all the new people in Ballito who do not know who Bruce is, he and his beautiful wife Rose, started the Courier in the olden days.
They believed in the growth of Ballito and they both put all their efforts into a newspaper that blossomed, and is still blossoming now.
Ballito would be different without the Courier. It was the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok of the olden days.
Bruce, please write a column again.
I know you live in a beautiful home with amazing views on a cliff, so this is the best setting to write columns and get inspiration. Lots of people would love to see your columns again.
