The by-election date for ward 6 to elect a new councillor will be held on September 11. Special votes day will be on September 10 and applications for this process will open on August 26 and will close on August 30.

Residents who are infirm, over the age of 60 and those who will not be in town on September 11 are encouraged to apply for special votes.

Residents can contact me on 076 569 9714 should they require assistance with this process. We need your vote to keep the ward DA. To apply, go into the IEC website at www.elections.org.za/pw
