Footy recently hosted an indoor cricket tournament at Townsend park. Umhlali Primary won the U14 competition, while the Cricket Bru’s dominated the U18 division and the Cross Batters edged out Nkobongo for glory in the open category.
The day was filled with exciting cricket all round, unbelievable catches, brilliant batting and excellent bowling. Thank you to all spectators and players who joined us and made the day a massive success.
The Footy soccer league is in the middle of its season with all teams into their stride and finding their groove as they look to lift the coveted league trophy.
The mixed league is being enjoyed by players and spectators alike and both men’s divisions are going to go down to the wire when semi-finals roll in.
The indoor netball league will kick off on April 16 with various divisions to choose from for all who are keen to play – beginner, mixed and premier divisions.
