Warrior Race Ballito kicks off tomorrow

Everything you need to know to enter the Warrior Race.

South Africa’s toughest and muddiest obstacle course, the Jeep Warrior Race, is coming to Ballito this weekend.

Join in the fun at Sugar Rush Adventure Park on July 16 and 17.

All you need to take part in this epic obstacle course event is a pair of old running shoes and a great sense of adventure because you are going to get muddy!

There are four courses on offer that vary in intensity and cater for all fitness levels.

For kids there is a one kilometre Warrior Bratz Race with eight obstacles.

Parents can accompany their children but adults are not allowed to compete in this event.

Beginners will find the Warrior Rookie Race, a six to eight kilometre route  with 15 obstacles, right up their alley.

The Rookie is the shortest distance with semi-challenging obstacles and is all about fun and camaraderie – perfect for newbies.

Up a level is the Warrior Commando, which is fairly challenging with a ten kilometre course and 20 fairly tough obstacles.

This event is labelled as the ultimate team-building experience.

Presenting a 18 to 20 kilometre course with 30 tough obstacles, the Jeep Warrior Black Ops is the toughest of the challenges.

The event meets with World-OCR racing standards and attracts South Africa’s top OCR athletes.
