Local riders excell at dressage competition

The event attracted riders from all over KZN and the local riders did exceptionally well using their home ground to their advantage.

Thirty-four competitors gathered at the picturesque Galloping Winds equestrian centre’s Spring Dressage Competition last weekend to compete in a show affiliated to KZN Dressage.

The event attracted riders from all over KZN and the local riders did exceptionally well using their home ground to their advantage.

Riders had to compete in a series of classes within their category from which a Victor Ludorum was chosen.

Four of the 11 Victor Ludorum prizes were awarded to home based riders.

The Galloping Winds riders that took top honours were Tae-Marie Hulett, Amanda Eardley, Sabrina Bailey and Danielle Bescoby, while Sonique Mouton, Carey Grey and Regina Anwary were awarded the runner-up Victor Ludorums.
