Warrior Race all set for new venue at Blythedale

Warriors of all ages and sizes are gearing up for this weekend’s Warrior Race obstacle series set to take place at Blythedale Coastal Estate on Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20.

The new beach venue will host a number of new and exciting obstacles which will put even the mightiest of warriors to the test.

Last year’s Ballito event saw more than 3500 participants battle it out for glory and prizes and this year should be no different.

Event information

• Registration begins at 6.30am on both Saturday and Sunday. You will need only your ID or passport number to register.
• If you checked in online and have a timing chip you can proceed straight to ‘Tap and Go’.
• Cash facilities will be available, but it is advised that you take some cash along with you.
• Make sure you know in which batch you start and at what time. There will be a sign at the entrance with all information available for each batch.
• The spectator entry fee is R30 per person, excluding kids under 3 years of age.

• Compulsory SASeeding Timing Chip (each team member MUST have one): R60

Commando

• R470 per person
• Team 2-8 people
• Compulsory SASeeding Timing Chip (each team member MUST have one): R60

Black Ops

• R550 per person
• Team 2-8 people
• Compulsory SASeeding Timing Chip (each team member MUST have one): R50
