Ballito Lions raise R30 000 at golf day

It was a day of great, golfing fun for everyone involved at Umhlali Country Club

Funds raised by a recent Ballito Lions golf day will go towards ensuring some children can study in relative comfort.

In what was a day of great, golfing fun for everyone involved at Umhlali Country Club, Suren Naidoo claimed victory with Pat Moodley coming in second.

Lions president Paul Naidoo thanked all their sponsors as well as the golfers who made the day possible.

“We raised R30 000 that will be used for various projects.

“Most of the funds will be used to supply chairs to Osizweni Primary School in Upper Tongaat.

“This school is in dire need of chairs as most of the chairs are broken. The kids spend more time balancing on the chairs than paying attention to their school work.”

Suren Naidoo received his first place prize from Paul Naidoo.
