Get ready for a weekend of fun with UCC
Entry to the festival is completely free, so make sure you do not miss out on the fun.
Dust off that racket, get those bowls shoes out of the closet, check your golf clubs and prepare for a weekend of fun with Umhlali Country Club (UCC).
The UCC Sports Festival taking place this weekend from Friday all the way to Sunday will see plenty of golf, squash, tennis and bowls action taking over, and everybody is invited!
Of course, there is not only sport to look forward to.
There will be yummy food stalls from Mo-Zam-Bik, the Grandstand and the full Mama G’s restaurant that opened at UCC; live entertainment starting at 6pm on Friday and Saturday nights; a beer garden and a raffle to win a trip for two to Mauritius for seven nights.
All this and they are even going to be showing the Sharks vs Reds rugby game at 11.30am on Friday.

Bowls
- Friday: 1pm – tabs in for a fun game with prizes to be won.
- Saturday: 1pm – bring a buddy match (buddies play for free) with prizes up for grabs.
- Sunday: 8.30am – drawn match with two ends of 11 and prizes on offer.

Tennis
- Friday: 5pm – fun tennis.
- Saturday: 1pm – social tennis with the prize giving to follow.

Squash
- Friday: from 6pm onward.
- Saturday: 8am to 5pm.
- Sunday: 8am to 1pm.
R500 per day, including lunch on Sunday, with doubles prizes as well as a lucky draw and prizes for best dressed team and best supporter. Prize giving and lunch on Sunday at 1pm.

Golf
(R1100 for all four competitions, or pay per day you play).
- Friday: 4pm – nine hole par three challenge, betterball stableford (R200 per person); 6.30pm – nine hole night golf, betterball stableford ((R300 per person).
- Saturday: 11.30am – Fourball alliance (R250 per person).
- Sunday: 7.30am – shotgun start, fourball alliance scramble drive (R350 per person); 1pm – main prize giving and lunch.
