Rough day on the job for Dolphins

The Ballito Dolphins take on the Jaguars at Sugar Rush Park on Saturday.

It was a tough weekend for the Ballito Dolphins Rugby Club as both the first and second teams were downed by Hillcrest.

The second team gave their all in their match but were unable to make it across the try line, eventually losing 15-0 to a strong Hillcrest side.

In the first team game, the Dolphins started positively by taking the lead in the first ten minutes.

Two injuries in the pack changed the structure slightly but both the attack and defense were outstanding with excellent handling shown by both sides.

Unfortunately the boys in yellow and blue were unable to hold on to their lead and eventually lost 15/8 after a very tight contest.

Cameron Hamman was an absolute stalwart in the lineouts.
