Agents reach their Netball goal

The competition was fierce but always had an emphasis on socialising and the pure enjoyment of netball.

The Footy Indoor Netball League concluded last week with some close encounters as the finalists traded point after point in search of league glory.

The league consisted of 10 teams (both ladies and mixed teams) and the season ran over 11 weeks.

The competition was fierce but always had an emphasis on socialising and the pure enjoyment of netball.

Some players had not played since high school and thoroughly enjoyed dusting off their tekkies and getting back on the court.

The League Cup final was a tough affair with the top two teams battling it out for league supremacy.

The Ballito Beaches fought hard but in the end were not strong enough for the mighty Free Agents, who were crowned champions.

The Cherry Bombs took the trophy final against the Dynamite team.

Footy coordinator Kyle Crichton extended a huge thank you to all the teams that entered and said they look forward to the new season kicking off on Monday, April 30.
