A swing for education
Golfers enjoyed the perfect sunny winter's day at the ConninghamLee Golf Day.
A whopping R50 000 was raised at the fun-packed ConninghamLee Golf Day held at Umhlali Country Club recently.
Golfers enjoyed the perfect sunny winter’s day and were welcomed by a jolly bunch at each hole dressed to their assigned holiday of the year – imagine sexy bunnies for Easter and green hats with potent shots for St Paddy’s Day.

After a day on the green, the golfers were treated to a delicious dinner and an inspiring speech by one of the young adults, Delani who was able to complete his tertiary education thanks to ConninghamLee’s support.
Delani used his first pay check to pay for his younger brother’s school fees.

Event organiser, Debbie Nicholson said they are so grateful for the support on the day and look forward to many more.
“As always, it was such a fun day and we look forward to raising even more funds next year to help more kids like Delani become a success in the future,” said Nicholson.
