Another loss for Ballito Dolphins
The boys will take to the field at Sugar Rush Park on Saturday for their last home game of the season against Westville Old Boys.
It was a mixed bag for the Ballito Dolphins Rugby Club over the weekend as they went head to head with the Rhinos, with a loss and a victory.
The second team were up first and played a tight game in very windy conditions.
The Rhinos have a whole new bunch of players, so it was a very different team to the one they played four months ago.
Using the wind to their advantage, the second team beat the Rhinos 19-10.
The first team boys were not so lucky, losing to their opponents 20-15 in a game that was theirs to win.
On three occasions the Dolphins made handling errors right on their opponents try line, throwing away valuable points.
The Rhinos defense was solid and the boys in blue struggled to penetrate it.
Of course, the Dolphins’ cause is not helped at the moment by the injuries plaguing the team, with 11 of their starters sidelined.
The boys will take to the field at Sugar Rush Park on Saturday for their last home game of the season against Westville Old Boys.
Second team kicks off at 2pm, followed by the first team at 3.30pm. Food and drinks on sale.
