PICS: A Blooming good golf day!

It was the greenest golf day in history as golfers dressed in the grassy colour worked their way around the Simbithi golf course for the annual, colourful Bloom Golf Day last week.

Bloom fundraiser Debbie Nicholson said this year’s golf day was a huge success and that they were eternally grateful for the fantastic support.

“We are thrilled with the outcome of the day – the community really rallied together, all the golfers enjoyed their game and the evening event was more than we could ever have hoped for,” said Nicholson.

“Extreme Events came in and set up the entire event, tranforming the room completely out of the goodness of their hearts. We owe them a huge shout out for their generosity. SMD Landrover was our title sponsor and we thank them for their incredible support and donation to our little school. To our loyal Regency Property Group who always open their hearts to Bloom Centre, we are incredibly grateful to all of you for assisting us to do what we do at Bloom!”

The funds raised will be used to build an ablution block with another three toilets and two extra paraplegic toilet spaces.

In addition, they have been sponsored an AstroTurf for another playground, so they can start with that wishlist project too.
