Into the sunset at Dudley Pringle Dam
The afternoon wind died down to present spectacular paddling conditions over the four and eight kilometre courses.
Paddlers powered through the water at the first sunset cruise series hosted by the Dolphin Coast Paddlers Club at Dudley Pringle Dam in Tongaat.
The three-race series, sponsored by Hunt Properties, is a lead-up and training ground for the annual Fish River Canoe Marathon in the Eastern Cape on October 5 and 6.
The afternoon wind died down to present spectacular paddling conditions over the four and eight kilometre courses.

The paddlers enjoyed a social braai after the race and a prize giving boasting exciting prizes sponsored by Dr MJ Carey, Durban Brewing Co, Taylor’s Meats and More and Araujo Attorneys.
If you are flatwater proficient in a surf ski, river kayak or stand-up paddler, make your way to Dudley Pringle Dam for the last two races on September 14 and 28.

Remember to bring your compulsory life jacket. It is a beautiful setting and a great way to start off your weekend.
