Golf galore at Darnall Country Club
Gear up for two exciting golfing events next month.

Get your golfing gear ready and head down to the greens at Darnall Country Club next month for two exciting golfing events.
The Country Club’s annual golf day will take place on October 13.
This will be the golf club’s first major fundraising initiative.
Funds raised will be utilised to improve the golf course, promote youth development and assist local needy charity organisations.
Businesses can support this event by sponsoring tees/greens, prizes or cash donations.
Companies can display their banners and products at the sponsored areas.
For prices, banking details and more information, contact Babs Pillay on 083 629 5600 or Kenneth Ashington on 079 876 2068.
School golf day
The second exciting event is the Darnall Primary School Golf Day.
This four-ball-American Scramble competition will take place on Saturday, October 27, followed by prize giving at the club.
Entrance fees for golfers are R250 each and includes a light lunch for each golfer and their caddie. This however does not include caddie fees or golf cart hire.
There will be a fleamarket, with a stall fee of only R50 for those wanting to sell their goodies, as well as loads of great prizes up for grabs.
Tee boxes and greens can be sponsored at R500 each.
All funds raised will be used by the school’s sport department for upgrades.
If you would like to sponsor prizes, arrangements can be made for collection. Alternatively they can be dropped off at the school at 77 Hulett Road.
