Footy approaching league finals
The Social League has been an ''edge of the seat'' affair throughout the season with any team being able to beat anyone on the day.
The final few spots will be decided this week for the closely contested men’s soccer league at Footy, for both the First Division and Social League.
The First Division boasts seven very strong teams that have fought valiantly to compete for the much sought after league glory.
Kombi Keg have finished top of the First Division league and look forward to an automatic final’s appearance, while the teams placed 2nd – 5th will play in the play-offs for the last available spot in the league final.

The Avengers FC sit pretty on the top of the league table and will be sitting waiting to see who they will meet in the league final.
The soccer league finals for both divisions will be on Thursday, September 20. With the Social League at 6.30pm and the First Division at 7.30pm.
Meanwhile, the youngsters of the U7 Footy team have been working hard at training in preparation for their match this week, where they will be taking on the mighty Nkobongo Warriors at the Footy courts in Townsend Park on Thursday at 4pm, so make sure to go support them for a fun afternoon out.
