This year there were bowlers from the Johanessburg Bowls Association, Natal Inland Bowls, KwaZulu Natal Country Bowls, Kingfisher and Port Natal Bowls Association, competing for the prize money of R55 000, which was won by John Barry’s team made up by Bryan Rae, Chris Strover and Ryan “Spanner” Jacobs – all from KZN.

“We thank all our sponsors and indeed the event was a great success,” said Roger Mckee, tournament manager.
