The KZN Champs have been heralded as one of the most 'fun' family contests of the year where fathers and their kids all compete together.
Calling all salt rats and sons of the sand!
It is nearly Christmas and time for the annual Lizzard Hurricane KZN Surfing Champs which will be taking place at the prestigious Bronze Beach on Saturday and Sunday, December 1st and 2nd.
This competition is being held to crown the 2018 KZN surfing champions in both men’s and women’s divisions from U10 to the over 55 year olds.

The KZN Champs have been heralded as one of the most ‘fun’ family contests of the year where fathers and their kids all compete together.
Wave Wizards Surf Club will be hosting the contest, which will include all KZN districts including Ugu, Ethekweni, Ilembe and King Cetshwayo (Zululand). Surfers will be representing their districts and will be awarded points towards the overall district trophy. The competition is sanctioned by KZN Surfing Association.
“As always we are really excited to be hosting all the top surfers of our province. The beauty of this contest is seeing all the families join together for a healthy outdoors weekend enjoying the sun and ocean,” said Wave Wizards Chairman Jestyn Viljoen
