SA Legends to take on Ballito Dolphins’ Madalas this month

Aged like fine wine, the SA Rugby Legends are heading back to Ballito next week to take on the Ballito Dolphins Rugby Club‘s Madalas team at Sugar Rush Park on March 9.
The day promises to be the highlight of the local rugby calendar, as the Dolphins’ gear up for another cracker of a season.
Festivities will start at 1pm with the kids coaching clinic run by the Legends followed by a curtain raiser of the Dolphins main squad squaring up against Varsity College in a pre-season warm-up.
Finally the much anticipated Legends game will kick off at 3.30pm.
They might be slightly long in the tooth but they aren’t called Legends for naught and our own “Old Boys” are only too aware of this so a thunderous encounter is expected.
After the game there will be big screen TV’s to watch the Sharks take on the Bulls and if the opening rounds of Super Rugby are anything to go on, this will also be a mouth-watering prospect.
After an eventful day and a few adult beverages, spectators can ‘squeak some tekkie’ while the Tequila Twins provide the music.
Food for the entire day will be provided by two of Ballito’s finest restaurants, namely Grandstand and Mozambik. Front row burgers or spicy wings…you choose.
