Trail paradise at Blythedale run/walk

An ideal destination for trail enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

Lace up those tekkies and gear up for a morning of outdoor fitness fun at the Blythedale Trail Run on Sunday, March 10.

The trail run will take you through Blythedale Coastal Estate – an ideal destination for trail enthusiasts and nature lovers alike, with a combination of several pristine natural habitats including indigenous forest, palm-fringed grasslands, mangroves and unspoiled beaches.

Trail runners and walkers can chose between three events.

The 6km is perfect for those new to trail running and the younger members of the family, while the 12km and 19km distances will pose a greater challenge.

WWalkersjr are welcome on both the 6km and 12km courses.

The race start/finish is situated in the estate’s picnic site just a short walk from the beach and starting times are 19km – 7am, 12km – 7:30am, 6km – 7:45am.

The KZNTR KidZone will be in action for children (2yrs+) of runners and there will be superb on-site catering of food and drink available throughout the morning.

Pre-entries close at noon on Friday, March 8 but entries will be taken on the day at a surcharge.
