Grooming young talent at Groutville soccer tournament
Inandi Peace Makers walked away champions after beating G.T United 2-0.
Groutville soccer fans were treated to top-notch football by eight soccer teams that took part in the Ugotshwa Usemanzi Soccer Tournament, recently held at Groutville Market Sports Ground.

Luyanda Cele from Vision Academy was crowned young performing player of the tournament while Asanda Nxumalo, captain of the Inandi Peace Makers, was crowned player of the tournament.
The event was organised by non profit organisation Rise Up Youth of 1976 (RUYO76).
RUYO76’s manager Sifiso Ngwane said it was his dream to see young soccer players developing in the townships and by hosting such events, he hopes to make this a reality.
“Thanks to everyone who contributed to making our event a success and special thanks to Nqobile Mthembu of Siyanqoba Soccer Club, who helped me plan the event.”
