Ballito in the equestrian spotlight

Riders and their horses are getting ready to show off their skills at the South African National Equestrian School Association (SANESA) competition at Galloping Winds on June 8 and 9.
With over 600 entries expected, this is bound to put Ballio in the equestrian spotlight. The competition will feature dressage, equitation, working hunter, showing and show jumping.
One of the Ballito competitors, Chad Hoggan said he is ready for the competition.
“It is always fun to have an event to look forward to and with our qualifying round happening in our hometown Ballito, I am finding it difficult to stay patient as I am so excited – I just want it to happen right away.
“We are stoked now that our local community can come and support us at Galloping Winds,” said Hoggan who rides for the Ashton International College equestrian team.
Spectators are welcome and entry is free.
