Mandeni sport fans were treated to weekend of action as soccer teams competed at the 3rd Annual Jomo Zungu Legacy Youth Tournament.

Ballito United U15 played three group stage matches on Friday which saw them progress to the semi final on Saturday with convincing wins against Darnall and Liverpool F.C.
The knock out stages took place on Saturday with Ballito United drawing against Young Magic and Young Leaders against Mondise Warriors Academy.
Both semi finals were tightly contested seeing Ballito United progress with a 1-0 victory and Young Leaders defeating Mondise Warriors to book their place in the final.
The final lived up to what was anticipated to be a cracker with Ballito United dominating with a 2 – 0 victory and an excellent show of possession and skill.
“It was great to see how our boys measured up to teams outside of our usual league structures in the Durban Central League where they are top of the log,” said Ballito United coach Thulani Majola.
