Ballito martial artists fighting fit
The North Coast team now turn their focus to the European Championships which will take place in Cyprus next month.
Ballito’s martial arts community continues to shine at national level.
Six members of the Ballito Martial Arts Masters Academy recently took on athletes from across the country at the South African Korean Martial Arts Association nationals in Potchefstroom.
The sextet of Kyle and Tyler Kleynhans, Nathan and Marna Diedrechsen, Courtney Erasmus and Chane Eardley hauled in 25 medals between them, of which 17 were gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze.
Medals were spread across a variety of categories, including point and continuous sparring, forms and combat weapon.
