Rugby legends ready to do battle in Ballito
The passing of legendary rugby figure Ian Macintosh earlier this year means the baton has passed to former Springbok Dick Muir.
Join the Ballito Dolphins for a fantastic family-friendly day of rugby at their annual legends game this Saturday.
Held at Oaklands Equestrian Estate, the game will see some local ‘madalas’ teaming up to face a South African Legends squad for an always competitive match.
Last year’s battle saw some ex-Springboks and household names in the line-up, including Butch James, Keegan Daniel, Nico Breedt and Skipper Badenhorst.

The passing of legendary rugby figure Ian Macintosh earlier this year means the coaching baton has passed to former Springbok Dick Muir, himself a large part of the KwaZulu-Natal rugby fraternity.
Muir will no doubt energise his troops and some top quality skills are expected to be on show.
Although the match (free admission) is the main entertainment on the day, there is also a free rugby clinic that affords children access to some world-class coaching.
And it is just a good old fashioned fun day out too.
You can find Oaklands Equestrian Estate above the Ballito Farmers Market on the R102 towards Shakaskraal.
