Fathers tee off for good at Mikhail D iHope Foundation autism fundraiser

The 3rd annual Father's Day Golf Challenge proved a huge success.

Local golfers took their best swings in aid of autism at the 3rd annual Father’s Day Golf Challenge last week.

Held at the new Ernie Els Signature Course at Zimbali Lakes on Friday, the event drew a full field of players to raise funds for the Mikhail D iHope Foundation for autism and other special needs.

Winners Ravi and Nikesh Maharaj flank organisers Gason Moonsamy and Dr Basil Dhaniram.

Proceeds from the day will go towards the construction of a new adult autism centre for the Ballito NPO.

The overall winners were Ravi and Nikesh Maharaj.

Father-and-son team, Ashok and Dr Kabir Jivan.
