Pink power for breast cancer awareness at Ballito Junction run

Runners had the chance to take on a unique 5km through the mall’s parking, all for a good cause.

Ballito Junction went pink on Saturday as locals sprinted, jogged and strolled in support of breast cancer awareness during the annual fun run.

The 5km challenge, in support of the I Love Boobies non-profit, closed off Women’s Month with spirit and style, celebrating women while embracing the Dolphin Coast’s active lifestyle.

Participants wound their way through the mall’s parking levels in a unique route before the lucky draw prize-giving.

I Love Boobies provides free breast examinations to women who cannot access such medical services due to financial or social barriers. The organisation also raises awareness and support among the wider public.

On the podium, Akhile Msweli claimed first place, followed by Natalie Kluza in second and Nduduzo Ndebele in third.
