Runners ring in Christmas with colourful Hunt 5km
Donned in festive garb, the group also donated food items to the Orphan Fund.
Almost 200 runners donned Christmas outfits and spread festive cheer while taking on a special Hunt Properties 5km last Friday.

The festive version of the weekly event also had a charitable outlook. Runners donated tinned food and clothing to The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, making the free post-run coffees from Concha Café particularly well earned.

“Thank you to everyone for their for their generous contributions towards our Christmas Cheer Campaign. A huge thank you to Hunt Properties for selecting us as a cause this festive season,” said Orphan Fund co-ordinator Charmaine Premlal.
“The support is truly appreciated.”

The Hunt Run will be back in action on Boxing Day (December 26) for the annual ‘Backwards Run’ – with the weekly route reversed. Runs begin at 5.30am in summer months, starting and ending at Concha.
