What Now conquer Crush

Over 140 people come out for this homegrown band.

What Now paid a visit to their home town and rocked Crush nightclub last Wednesday night as they come to the end of their South African tour.

The band left SA eight years ago to pursue their dream on the international stage. Their album, Move like a Sinner, has been a great success and some of their songs have topped the charts in Europe and South Africa.
Crush was packed out in the middle of the week, which is testament to the band’s local following.
Blair Locke, Crush’s owner was impressed with the attendance and even more so with the band.
“We had over 140 people come out on a Wednesday night which is a feat in itself. The guys are really professional,” said Locke.
The crowd sang along and danced the night away as the UK-based band rocked out at Crush for the first time in eight years.
Chris Morris, the father of lead guitarist Ryan Morris, was at the gig and enjoyed the show.
“We are really proud of them. Ryan could have done anything, he was a talented sportsman, but he chose to do this,” said Chris.
The band will now head back to their home in the UK and continue building on their past success.
