Burgers anyone?
Have a burger (without feeling guilty) to celebrate Burger Day!
If you were wondering what to have for lunch, here is an idea.
Why not have a delicious, juicy burger since it is Burger Day today, August 27!
The history behind the hamburger invention is not exactly clear, with some saying it started in Hamburg, Germany, hence the name.
The majority will tell you that it started at a food fair somewhere in America back in the nineteen hundreds.
Either way, the hamburger has come a long way and now you can find the tastiest, gourmet burgers at popular hipster spots all around the country.
Durban is hosting a big Burger Festival where foodies can sample some of the best burgers in town.
It is all going down at 5 Station Drive, Durban from 5.30pm. Check out the details here.
In other burger news, Burger King created a proposal for rivals McDonald’s to join their buns and create a McWhopper.
They created an entire website to explain the idea. All proceeds will go to the united nations campaign Peace One Day and so the burger wars will end for one day on September 21.
