If you fancy yourself as an adventurer who enjoys going on scavenger hunts, Geocaching is going to become your favourite hobby.
All you need to get going in this real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game to find the geocache (container), is a GPS-enabled devices such as your smartphone and the Geocaching app.
While the initial app is free, it is limited and requires you to upgrade to premium (at a cost) to unlock all geocache types.
Premium membership ranges from R73,70 per month or R369,28 a per year and guarantees endless adventure.

When you have chosen one, follow these steps:
Navigate – follow your GPS until you get to your destination.
Search – look up, down and around to find the hidden container with the treasure inside.

Sign – once you have found the container, sign your name in the book and open the geocache.
Trade and replace – this is a must! Choose something you like and either leave something of equal or greater value inside.
Log your find – make a note and go on your next adventure.
