Three great outdoor activities for families at Ballito
The Dolphin Coast boasts warm weather all year round, so get out there and soak up the sun.

What better way to enjoy the Dolphin Coast than spending your weekend in the glorious outdoors with family and friends.
We have picked three activities that suit every budget and mood and guarantee a good time in the sun:
1. Feeling energetic? Hop on your bike, pick a trail and enjoy the ride at Holla Trails.

Whether you are a fitness freak or a couch potato wanting to try your luck on a bike, they have a track for everyone.
Based on Esenembe Road, Ballito at Sugar Rush, Holla Trails are open everyday from 6am until 4.30pm.
A day pass costs R55 and kids under 12 ride for free.
Relax and enjoy a smoothie after the ride at the Sugar Rush Café.
Sugar Rush also has a pump track, designed by Eben Combrinck from SAPump Tracks, that has endless loops, rollers and berms. Riders propel themselves through the track by shifting their body weight, or “pumping” in conjunction with the track contours, offering a great form of exercise and fun workout.
For more info, contact the trailmaster on 074 897 8559.
2. Have a need for speed?

Put on your helmet and hit the accelerator at Ace Karting at the Ballito Bay Mall.
For R100 you get 20 laps or go for gold and pay R150 for 30 laps around the exciting track.
Ace Karting is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am till 6pm out of season and everyday in season.
Any ages are welcome, so grab the family and book your spot on 072 951 3790 or 082 867 9955.
3. Fly like a bird

Get your adrenaline pumping and go for a flight in a microlight with the Ballito Microlight School cc.
Choose between a 10, 20 or 30 minute flight starting from R300. If you have a specific location in mind, custom-made trips can be arranged.
Anyone can microlight, as long as you are over seven years old and weigh under 140 kilograms.
They are open seven days a week, weather permitting, however mornings are recommended for flights.
Remember to wear pants and to take a warm jacket.
To book, phone 082 659 5550.
