In a posh setting of black and white, the new Two Shrimps restaurant officially opened its doors for an exclusive preview event on Wednesday June 15. The aptly named restaurant (located at no 2 Shrimp Lane) is part of the elegant Canelands Beach Club and Spa.
Local dignitaries and special guests were treated to a culinary six-course feast prepared by Chef Shaun McGee, paired with fine wine.
Each dish was meticulously prepared and clearly showed that Chef McGee is not afraid to push boundaries.
A dream of its owners, Ingo Roolf and Wesley Bench-Capon, to create a fine dining eatery at an ‘eat your heart out’ setting right on the beach. Hopefully Two Shrimps will continue live up to a great first impression.
