Meeting Sharks’ player, Tera Mtembu
The first 50 fans to meet Mtembu, walked away with free signed rugby balls while one lucky draw winner took home a signed Sharks' rugby jersey.
Tera Mtembu, from the Cell C Sharks spent the afternoon meeting fans and signing autographs at the new Corner Bakery store within Game at Gateway on Sunday (July 10).
The first 50 fans to meet Mtembu, walked away with free signed rugby balls while one lucky draw winner took home a signed Sharks’ rugby jersey.
The Budhichand brothers from Stanger were thrilled to meet the rugby great.
Tera was named the first black captain of the Cell C Sharks Absa Currie Cup in 2014, at the age of 23. He currently plays as a flanker or eightman for the Cell C Sharks in Super Rugby and the Sharks XV in the Currie Cup.
