GALLERY: Like-minded networking
It was through studying and applying Suse Orman's principles and money laws that she finally crawled her way back up, a wiser and enriched person.
The MegaMind networking and training breakfast, held last Thursday at Karibu Tea Garden, gave women the opportunity to learn, network, receive great encouragement and be empowered.
The training was based on Suse Ormans’ 5 Laws of Money. Suse Orman is an American author, financial advisor, motivational speaker, and television host and presenter and Rae Dengler, from Show Me Ballito, unpacked the concepts and highlighted the finer points.
Suse Orman’s statement: “You’re never powerful in life until you are powerful over your money” is often a hard-earned lesson, especially for women.
Dengler shared how meeting and working with incredible self-starter business people all over the world, inspired her to also “create wealth beyond her dreams”.
She did, then slowly found her business crumbling and she had to face a mountain of debt.

The next MegaMind Woman in Business will be held on August 18 at Karibu at 8.30am.
The trainer will be Chris Smith from ActionCoach who will discuss the DISC model of Behaviour – when we understand the type of person we are and the type of person we are dealing with; it goes a long way in closing the deal or making the sale.
“The heart behind MegaMind is to see people grow and develop in their business, be empowered and have an opportunity to not only to network but also give back by sharing the lessons learnt in business through mentorship,” said organiser, Claire Phillips from The ProRep Solution.
