Owner and organiser of the Pecanwood Oktoberfest, Jarred Wilson said the event brings together sport and culture like no other.
If you are looking for an adventure filled escape, Pecanwood Oktoberfest might be just what you need.
The sport and lifestyle festival, held from October 29 to 30 is situated in the Midlands.
Music to the ears of adventurous souls, this year’s festival theme, #ChooseYourAdventure focuses on people choosing their personal adventure, whether it be sport, thrill or even beer drinking and dancing.
Owner and organiser of the Pecanwood Oktoberfest, Jarred Wilson said the event brings together sport and culture like no other.
“This is the only festival where all four sporting events are held in one day, which are motorbike races, trail runs, 4×4 technical challenge and the Enduro cross which is an indoor motorcycle competition. Families are welcomed to the sporting events but no under 18s are allowed into the festival,” said Wilson.
Music enthusiasts are promised to be entertained by live performances from some of South Africa’s top music acts which include Arno Carstens, Short Straw, Crash Car Burn, Gus Brown, Chico Muyo, Ryan Stylz, Rowan Stuart, Gavin Ferguson and Mathew Gardiner.
You can even bring your own tent and camp for free. There is also an option to book a place in the tented camps on offer from Tent Nation.
