Trendy Christmas fare at annual country fair

Good news for the men is the "Man Cave", a marquee set aside for all things male and robust, complete with a craft beer stand by Ballito's own Great Railroad Brewing Company.

Christmas would not be the same on the Dolphin Coast without the popular annual Christmas Country Fair at Collisheen Estate gardens to herald its coming.

The Fair, set for Wednesday, November 2 and Thursday, November 3, is the ideal opportunity to do your Christmas shopping and catching up with trending décor and Christmas gift ideas at your leisure without being jostled by the shopping crowds during the December buying frenzy.

This year visitors can look forward to more than 90 stalls with unique and mostly hand-crafted merchandise such as toys, jewelery, clothing, soft furnishings and a whole lot more. Have a blast choosing gifts for your loved ones and spoil yourself and your home.

Over the years, the Christmas Country Fair has become famous for outstanding Christmas cakes and puddings and this year will be no different as the pudding table will be laden with rich, spicy and mouthwatering puddings and cakes to round off your Christmas meal on a high and delicately sweet note.

There is always a great demand so to avoid disappointment, puddings can be ordered in advance from Maryderne Boyce on 082 801 1942.

The Christmas Country Fair is a fundraising initiative of the Christmas Fair Fund and all proceeds are donated to deserving organisations and institutions on the KZN north coast so your support helps others as well. Contact Michelle Blake on 083 284 9059 or michelle@thechristmasfairfund.co.za.
