Cook-off and cool-off at Sugar Bay
There isn't a specific type of dish or type of food that has to be made and the cooks will just be judged on how good their dish is.
Sugar Bay Holiday Camp is hosting a Cook & Slide cook-off family day this Sunday, 30 October.
With three new fantastic water slides and the beautiful setting of the 16-acre camp, the event promises to be loads of fun.
There are ablutions on the premises, and there will be activities for the whole family to enjoy, such as pool games.
Families are welcome to relax and enjoy the day from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
The cook-off takes place at noon.
Anyone can enter and basic foods such as meat and veges will be provided and folk are welcome to bring extra ingredients.

Zoe Ellender, owner of Sugar Bay Holiday camp will be one of the judges.
Although there will food to taste and enjoy, people are welcome to bring their own picnic baskets.
Sugar Bay is South Africa’s first and only American style summer camp, and has been running for 15 years.
“There is nothing but absolute fun available for the children at Sugar Bay and on October 30 the parents are invited to share the experience. If families want to just come and relax, eat and swim this is a good event for them,” said Sugar Bay’s Jay Royce.
Tickets are R150 per adult and R50 per child and will be on sale at Sugar Bay Holiday camp.
Sugar Bay is situated in Zinkwazi Beach at 21 Nkwazi Drive, Zinkwazi beach.
