Catch the buzz at KZNSA Gallery’s Christmas fair

KZNSA’s Buzzart offers jewelry, textiles, Christmas décor, lighting, fashion (clothing, shoes, bags and accessories), stationery, wirework, beadwork, ceramics, art and design books and original artworks.

Durban’s biggest local independent Christmas fair, KZNSA’s Buzzart runs at the KZNSA Gallery in Glenwood from November 18 until January 15 2017.

“Now a local-only affair, with exciting makers in many disciplines, Buzzart is the destination for original proudly South African gifts and collectible art and bespoke design in Durban catering for those on a budget looking for stocking fillers, to those wanting to purchase collectable pieces,” explained KZNSA Gallery’s Angela Shaw.

The exhibition offers products to suit every taste and occasion – including jewelry, textiles, Christmas décor, lighting, fashion (clothing, shoes, bags and accessories), stationery, wirework, beadwork, ceramics, art and design books and original artworks.

Buzzart special projects this year include a homage to the balmy subtropics taking the form of a range of work with a tropical/jungle theme – in particular working with a monkey motif honouring the Year of the Monkey which wraps up in January 2017.

Artists working in Pascale Chandler’s studio have been working with a monkey theme and will be exhibiting their work in the Park Gallery.

The KZNSA is a not-for-profit, member-based, public benefit arts organisation situated in 166 Bulwer Road in Glenwood.
