Is that a rhino in my yard?
Save the Rhino Foundation to host awareness campaign this week

Photos have been sent in to The Courier of a ‘white rhino’ supposedly wandering the streets in Salt Rock.
Those in the know say the rhino must have escaped from Umfolozi Game Reserve in attempt to outsmart the rampant poachers targeting the park.
Once out, he did what so many South Africans do when they need to get away from it all – he came down to the Dolphin Coast.
The Save the Rhino Foundation has been in contact with the rhino – who apparently says he’s in witness protection for the sake of his horn – and has promised that he will be paying a visit to the Sasol filling station on Friday as part of a drive to raise awareness of the plight his brothers and sisters face daily at the hands of unrepentant poachers.
Stay tuned to The Courier for more on this story.
