uShaka Marine World is laying on a lotta love this month
There is a whirlwind of entertainment on offer at uShaka Marine World this February!
It’s going to be a month to remember at uShaka Marine World and definitely the place to be to hang loose and experience some love, peace and fun, with 30% off all Sea World, Wet n Wild or combo tickets from 1 – 28 February.
Now that’s a month full of love.
For those going steady, Cargo Hold is sure to pull at your heartstrings with their delicious new special menu spread.
Plus, it’s also that time of the year when entries open for the annual Dairymaid Mr, Miss, Junior Miss uShaka and Mr and Miss uShaka Kids World, which will now be one event incorporating all the categories.
The total prize package for the Mr, Miss and Junior Miss uShaka totals R50 000 and R20 000 for the Mr and Miss uShaka Kids World.
If you think you have what it takes and believe you have the whole package – from beauty, brains, cuteness and a love for marine conservation- you have until 2pm on Tuesday, February 28 to enter the annual pageant supported by Dairymaid.
Then get out the red, green and yellow and embrace your inner Rasta for some truly jamming entertainment this month, in honour of what would have been Bob Marley’s 70th birthday.
uShaka Marine World will be hosting its annual music event celebrating the life and work of the acclaimed reggae musician, featuring a number of local reggae artists in the mix.
The event takes place on February 5th where celebrating Bob and One Love at Wahooz at a nominal charge of R20.
uShaka Marine World will also be the host of a three day event from 25 – 28 February from 10am – 4pm outside Dangerous Creatures, situated in the uShaka Village Walk.
Their environmentalists are keen to share some interesting facts on frogs and advise on how you can protect frogs in your communities.
Although there are no promises of princes waiting in the wings for the kiss of true love, there are plenty of frogs waiting for you to love them, so come and celebrate the role they play.
What’s more, you can enter Dangerous Creatures for half the price during this period.
Village Walk will also be filled with love in the air with the chance to snuggle and take a “smooching” photo at the 60s Kombi of love.
Snap the picture, upload it to the uShaka Facebook page or Instagram using #uShakaLove which will run all Valentine’s weekend long with tons of entertainment that will definitely set the vibe for a fabulous occasion.
