A little miss with a big heart
Paige will be jet setting off to Johannesburg to take part in Miss Junior SA
Ballito’s Simply Models is proud to announce that one of their youngest little beauties has been selected to represent KZN at Miss Junior SA in Pretoria in April.
Simply Models’ Karen Landman said Paige Roberts, from Ballito, has truly done her community proud during the past few months. And she is only four years old.
“Paige is such a dynamic little girl who has been raised knowing the importance of paying it forward. She has taken part in a number of charity drives and pageants,” said Landman, who has worked with Paige for about a year now.
Paige’s foster mom, Lisa said while she is not at all a model mom, she is proud of what Paige has achieved and supports her with everything she does.
“Having brought up my two sons, I have always been a soccer, hockey and cricket mom, so I am having a lot of fun with a little girl now who loves purple and her mini heels,” said Lisa.
“I call her my butterfly, because I feel like when I got her at 11 months old she was a caterpillar and now she has become a beautiful, confident butterfly.”
Paige will be jet setting off to Johannesburg to take part in Miss Junior SA from April 4 to 8, where she will be taking part in various activities with a different look everyday.
“The rules are quite strict, as they want the children to be as natural as possible, so things like make up and nail polish are not allowed.”
