Last chance to enter uShaka Marine World pageant

If you think you have what it takes to be Mr, Miss or Miss Junior uShaka Marine World or have a little one that would be the perfect Mr and Miss uShaka Kids World – you have until 2pm on Tuesday, 28 February to enter these two exciting annual pageants.

The pageants will now be combined into one exciting Gala bumper event which will take place on Saturday, June 3^rd starting at 17.00pm.

Supported by Dairymaid, this year’s pageant offers prizes and cash totalling in the region of R50 000 for the Mr, Miss and Miss Junior uShaka Marine World and R20 000 for Mr & Miss uShaka Kids World.

The winners will also be included in uShaka Marine World’s advertising campaigns throughout the year.

Entries

For the Mr, Miss and Miss Junior uShaka Marine World one can enter online or complete the entry form with two recent A4 good quality colour photographs (one face and one full body) together with a valid entry form.

Girls aged between 13 and 16 can enter the Miss Junior uShaka Marine World and the young ladies and gentlemen who are 17 and over can enter the Mr and Miss uShaka Marine World competition.

Entries can also be found online for the little ones entering the Mr and Miss uShaka Kids World, in which parents must complete the entry form and attach two recent good quality images.

Those contestants who are successfully selected from the photo selections will be personally invited to go through to the uShaka Marine World regional selections on the dates listed below, hosted at the respective venues around KZN.

Important dates to remember:

• Entries Close: Tuesday, February 28^th at 2pm.
• Regional selections for the 2017 Mr, Miss or Miss Junior uShaka Marine World will take place at 3 venues during the month of March: dates will be 4, 11 and 18 March – all starting at 10am. Venues will be confirmed with you directly upon confirmation of entry.
• Interviews will then take place for those who have been selected from the above three venues at uShaka Marine World on Saturday, 25 March at 10am.
• From there, the semi finals for all groups will take place in uShaka Wet ‘n Wild – Saturday, 6 May at 10am.
• Moms & Dads, the talent search for your little ones who were selected will take place at uShaka Kids World on Saturday, 20 May starting at 12pm.
• The Gala Event will take place at the Dolphin Stadium, Sea World on Saturday, 3 June at 5pm.  Tickets can be purchased online through uShaka ticketing at a cost of R165 for adults and R110 for kids.
