Ballito’s sweet dance moves bring home medals
Solos, duos, small groups and formations battled out for top spots
Sugar Dance Ballito’s 30 dancers heated up the dancefloor at the third annual KZN Hip Hop Challenge at Westville University Sports Centre, hosted by the South African Body of Dance last weekend.
Solos, duos, small groups and formations battled out for top spots of which Sugar Dance received medals in every section entered.
Coach and owner of Sugar Dance, Julie Robert said of the event always had a great vibe and this year was no exception.
“The athletes worked hard to be ready for the comp and they relish any opportunity to show the judges and audience why they love to dance. Alongside our friends from DanceWeb Ballito, the North Coast had a strong presence at the competition and we can be proud of the talent we have!”
