Vote for your Miss Ballito 2017

While the judges will have final say on who is ultimately crowned Miss Ballito 2017, there is a public choice award for the girl who can get the most votes

The 12 finalists for the 2017 Miss Ballito pageant have been announced and it is up to you to vote for your winner.

Bianca de Sousa, Brook Haslam, Siphesihle Masuku, Ashleen Naidoo, Rivashni Naidoo, Nonumiso Ngwane, Londeka Nzuza, Kimera Ramroop, Nokubonga Sibisi, Sharne Snyman, Melandi Venter and Natasha Wormington were chosen as the final 12.

One of the organisers on behalf of the Zimbali Rotary Club, Heidie Smith told The Courier that the pageant is not only about looks, but about making the contestants more aware of their responsibility within the community.

“Each contestant has to undertake a community project and then present it to the judge’s panel,” said Smith.

“Of course, we hope that the girls will stay involved in their communities no matter how they do in the pageant.”

Smith also said that the finalists would take part in skills development workshops to further their own abilities and gain skills that they can use for the rest of their lives.

While the judges will have final say on who is ultimately crowned Miss Ballito 2017, there is a public choice award for the girl who can get the most votes.
