On Fire Comedy proudly brings you another run of top-class comedy shows featuring some of SA’s hottest comedians sharing the stage with Durban’s best acts!
This month, Ballito is in for a real treat with well-known SA funny man (and movie star!) – Chris Forrest.
Best known for his starring role on TV’s hilarious Pure Monata show, for his extensive TV ad campaigns as well as roles in several movies (Straight Outta Benoni, White Wedding, Blitz Patrollie), Chris Forrest has been on the forefront of SA’s comedy scene for over 10 years now.
He’s hosted and headlined some of the biggest shows in the country, including “The Heavyweight Comedy Jam” and “Blacks Only”, and has also performed internationally at the Edinburgh Festival and at London’s Lyric Theatre.
He speaks slowly but he thinks quickly, with his unique, ‘deadpan’ sense of humour making him one of the country’s most recognized stand-up comedians.
Chris will be supported throughout the week by some of Durban’s top acts as well as comics from ‘out of town’.
These include Gavin Kelly (JHB), Al Prodgers (JHB) and Westley Cockrell (JHB).
Our funny locals include Arnotte Payne, Kams Govender, Rory Petzer (East Coast Radio), Mo Vawda, Masood Boomgaard, Kelvin Stoffels, Some Blaqq Guy and Kelvin Stoffels.
Pumpkin Theatre – La Montagne (Ballito)
The tickets for the Ballito show on Saturday, April 29 cost R100 each and the fun will begin at 8pm.
